Kitchen Worktop Wrapping in Northern Ireland

A wrapped worktop gives you the marble, stone, oak or concrete look without templating, trades and weeks of waiting. The vinyl is heat-formed around the edges for a factory-grade finish, usually fitted in a single day.

Surfaces we wrap

  • Kitchen worktops and island tops
  • Breakfast bars and upstands
  • Splashbacks and back panels surrounds
  • Bathroom vanity tops
  • Reception counters and bar tops (see our commercial page)

The finish

The material is textured, architectural-grade vinyl — matte and satin colours, marble and stone effects, wood grains and concrete looks. Edges are heat-formed so they read as a manufactured surface, not a sticker. At arm's length, a marble-effect wrapped worktop is hard to distinguish from the real thing.

Why wrap a worktop

Replacement stone or composite starts in the thousands before fitting, and a like-for-like laminate swap still means days with no worktop, no sink and no hob. Wrapping goes straight over the surface you have: one day's work, no mess, and the freedom to change the look again years down the line. It's also how a dated worktop ends up matching brand-new wrapped doors, in one visit.

Heat and hot pans — the honest answer

The vinyl is rated for normal kitchen use — kettle steam, splashes, wiping down, warm plates. Pans straight off the hob should still go on a trivet, and chopping happens on a board, exactly as you would with laminate or wood. Treat it like any quality worktop and it lasts for years.

Questions we get asked

Can you wrap over tiles or a tiled splashback?

Yes, if the tiles are well-bonded and even. Badly cracked or loose tiles need to come off first — we'll tell you from photos.

Can the worktop wrap match my wrapped doors?

Yes — doors, worktop and splashback are usually done together so everything lands in the same finish family.

How long does a worktop wrap take?

A typical kitchen worktop and splashback is a single day. Larger islands and bar runs may take two.
